Frequently asked

How do I book an appointment?

All appointments can be made directly with your specialized dietitian. Simply click “request an appointment” and a message will be sent advising them of your consultation request. The dietitian will then contact you to schedule a date/time.

If you are unready to book your consultation you can also do so during a free discovery call.

Do I need a referral to be seen?

While many physicians will refer their patients directly to us you do not require a medical referral to make an appointment. If you do however, have a referral please inform your dietitian.

How do I modify or cancel my appointment?

Once you make your appointment the dietitian will share their contact information with you. If there needs to be a modification speak with them directly. We do however ask that all appointments be confirmed 48 hours in advance - cancellation within 24 hours will result in a $25 administrative fee.

How do I pay for my consultation?

All payments are made via e-transfer and must be made within 24 hours of your appointment. It is only upon receiving payment that we can send you a receipt for your insurance claims. Any educational material, summaries, notes, additional questions via email will not be provided until payment is made. Failure to receive payment may incur additional late fees. All subsequent follow up appointments will be temporarily cancelled until payment is secured.

How do I know if this service is covered by my private insurance?

Dietitian services are covered by most insurance plans. Please verify with your insurance provider.

How do I access my insurance receipts?

Once payment has been secured, you will receive a receipt via email containing all the necessary information to claim to your insurance provider.

I’m not a Québec resident, can I still have a consultation?

At this time we are only providing access to residents of the province of Québec.

Am I able to have a consultation in French?

Our dietitians are fully bilingual and are happy to consult with you in French or English, as per your preference.
